We can pay for transportation to medical appointments and for medication for uninsured or underinsured homeless guests in our Residential Recovery Program

I have only been working with the Micah Residential Recovery Program for a short period of time but have witnessed how great the need for medical care and medication is for our guests. Most of the guests who come to the Micah Respite House do not have transportation or adequate health insurance. Our program assists our guests in accessing resources to address their needs. Often this means paying for transportation to and from medical appointments as well as covering the cost of medications. Obtaining appropriate medical care and treatment is crucial to improving and maintaining our guests' health and wellbeing as they work towards stabilization and self-sufficiency.
